Proverbs 17 verse 22

Created by Jane 3 years ago

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.

Good friends LAUGH LOUD and OFTEN

Any time i was sad or down, somehing had happened i turned to dad. Being in his arms was the safest place in the world ( I called it Daddies nest and I would climb into his cardigan and snuggle)

Come on into the greenhouse here and tell me about it Sometimes without saying a word we would get on with planting and feeding. And slowly id begin to feel a bit better like a weight was lifting.

Dads advice was cast your burdens on the Lord, those are big strong shoulders and he can take it. No matter what no matter when God is always near.

What a friend we have in Jesus,

All our sins and griefs to bare.

What a privilage to carry everything to God

In prayer

He talked to everyone, everywhere about his friend God. His best friend and companion.  He spoke openly and compassionately and drew people in. I seen him sit up all night praying with strangers many times. People that others may have been afraid of, or avoided. And he would explain as simply as he could that God loved them.

I've found a friend oh SUCH a friend

He loved me err i knew him

He drew me in with chords of love and thus...

he bound me to him.

For it is by Grace ye have been saved.

Through FAITH and that not of yourself.

It is the gift of God
