Truly saddened to hear of the passing of Bernard. I spent many an adventurous day in the Mairs household as a child and have very fond memories of those days including “helping” to pick mushrooms when really Grace and used to love to eat them straight from the sheds raw. I was always made to feel so welcome by both Bernard and Florence and couldn’t wait for the next adventure. Your all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Love from Amy, William and family xxx
